Well, here goes. The website is live and ready for comments and contributions. I've been working really hard with Dave (Mr IT) to get things up and started. In particular, it's a joy to have this interactive blog on the site because hopefully this means more conversations, more connections and (God willing) more change in our lives.
So what do you think? Any comments about the site (encouragements, corrections, improvements, etc)?
Has anything got you thinking?
Consider this like a visitors book. Have you had a nice stay with us?

I'm liking it! The look of it suits Breathe perfectly - unfussy and simple but still warm and friendly. The book review section is good and I shall be adding titles to my reading list...

The Body of Christ |

(Hi Mark - remember me? we linked up on the City of God event you organised in Croydon.)<br>Anyhow, some general thoughts... Just looking back to Update 6 and the hints at living as community as part of living simply. I've just been writing an assignment on environmental ethics about the Heathrow Climate Camp and wondering what this might have to teach us about a Christian response to consumerism and excess as the roots of environmental exploitation. Brilliant book written in 1975 by John Taylor called 'Enough is Enough' which highlights the biblical basis for living as a covenant community in resistance to 'excess'... and I'm just thinking how important it is that Breathe really does draw in every different shape and size of Christian so that we can confidently stand as the Body of Christ in witness to the world. Your 'modern-catholic-anglican' sister in Christ, Anna!

Great to hear from you, Anna. I'll try and get in touch by email, especially as it would be great to have a review of Enough is Enough on the website - plus any good quotes too. I absolutely agree that we have somehting special to share with the world on this one (all Christians together) as well as stuff to learn. Bless you sis! Mark

My first visit to the new site (thank Holly for prompting me)... it's great. The overall layout of the site is very clear and uncluttered, helping focus on the simple but powerful messages. I particularly "enjoyed" the adwatch section today and emailed the page about Peace of Mind to my son who is working with kids in the East End. Great site, great work; keep it up!

A friend directed me to this today. As a Tertiary Franciscan novice this is exactly what I want to find - super site, and it's good to know I'm not alone in seeking a radical discipleship. I'll point others this way
